Activities 2019-20

International Women's Day falls on 8 March. But this year it being a Sunday, the day was observed on Monday 9 March. The assembly was centred around the contribution of women to the society and focused on various roles of women in ensuring a balanced society. This was followed by a presentation on the theme 'An equal world is an enabled world'. Students depicted the contribution of women in various fields and gave a glimpse to the efforts put in by these exemplary women.

The presentation was followed by a talk by Ms Trupti Samant. Ms Trupti, an alumnus of the college, is presently a teacher at Utkarsh High School. She shared how she overcame difficult moments in her life through sheer grit and determination. Ms Trupti lost her right hand to a medical issue but she never lost her will power and zest for life. Despite her physical challenges, she has run several marathons and also scaled Kalsubai the tallest peak in Maharashtra. We are proud of you Trupti. May you continue to inspire many more!
