National Motherhood Day

11 April(the birth anniversary of Kasturba Gandhi) was observed as National Motherhood Day. To assure the safety and health of all women during pregnancy and delivery, it is mandatory to empower “safe motherhood". Ms Nancia Nato made a presentation on need for providing proper prenatal and post natal care to women.  



International Women's Day 2022




International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women

25 November was observed as International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women. Ms Swapnali Kantela in the assembly presentation traced the events that led to the establishment of the day. She also focused on efforts that need to be made to eliminate all forms of violence against women.




International Girl Child Day

11 October was observed as International Girl Child Day. It is a day for empowering and amplifying the voices of young girls around the world. The theme for International Day of Girl Child 2021 was 'Digital generation'. A special asembly was conducted by Ms Leen Dcunha to highlight this theme and look at ways in which a teacher can help to bridge the digital gender gap.
