Women's Day Celebration 8 March 2017
Students participated in a special programme 'Portrayal of Empowered Women'.
They shared briefly the achievements of these women who have been trailblazers in their respective arenas and left a rich legacy to humankind.

Sr Philomena in her address shared her experiences as a Principal of a girls' school. She also shared her experiences as a member of the Women Cell of Vasai. She urged the students to become empowered and help to empower other women.
A workshop on Self Defence for women was organised in collaboration with the Lions Club Unique, Vasai. Lion Suryaprakash Mundapat, a 4th Dan Black Belt International Referee and an instructor in karate gave informative inputs on the use of karate for self defence. Students practised some basic moves that will definitely be of use. The programme was organised with the initiative of Lion Dr Somnath Vibhute, Lion Hanumant Bhosale and others.
